Roles & Navigation
Secant Studio uses role-based navigation. The role controls what product areas you see, but most creative work happens in the same Studio pages for both Agency Admins and Agency Members.
Role Summary
| Role label | Internal role | Typical permissions |
|---|---|---|
| Agency Admin | agency_owner | Studio, Campaigns, Projects, Media, Design Review, Settings, Billing, campaign/brand kit management, exports. |
| Agency Member | agency_member | Studio, Campaigns, Projects, Media, Design Review, project generation, uploads, review workflows. |
| Client Viewer | client_viewer | Read-only access where enabled. Not currently the primary Studio production role. |
What Agency Admins Can Do
- Create and manage campaigns.
- Create, view, edit, and delete brand kits.
- Create and edit projects inside campaigns.
- Upload and manage campaign source material.
- Use Creative Director to generate campaign plans.
- Generate images, vectors, music, voice, and video.
- Review, approve, export, and download deliverables.
- View billing, credits, plan state, and Stripe checkout/customer portal links where configured.
- Access Studio Settings.
What Agency Members Can Do
- Open campaigns and projects they have access to.
- Upload source media.
- Use the project prompt dock to generate outputs.
- Preview, download, and reuse assets according to workspace permissions.
- Use Design Review and Media pages.
- Collaborate on campaign production and project outputs.
What Is Not Covered Here
The following are system-admin or operator responsibilities and are intentionally excluded from this end-user wiki:
- Creating platform users from the system-admin dashboard.
- Changing global roles.
- Adjusting account credits outside billing flows.
- Provider operations, Modal usage dashboards, queue internals, and training runs.
- Docker, Hetzner, deployment, secrets, or environment configuration.
System-admin link visibility: normal agency users and operators do not see the System Admin navigation item. If a non-system-admin user directly opens
/studio/system-admin, Studio shows an access-restricted page instead of the platform governance dashboard.
